Obituary for Catherine Henry Williams Nutter Whitlock

Catherine Henry Williams Nutter Whitlock, 93, passed away September 22, 2017 in Georgetown, Kentucky. She was born September 27, 1923 in Scott County to the late Luther Williams, Sr. and Della Hall Williams. She was the widow of James "Jim" Whitlock and John T. Nutter Sr.

Catherine retired as Chief Operator and Supervisor from South Central Bell and was a member of Newtown Christian Church. She was a member of several clubs and organizations including, the V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, Purity 116, and the Pioneer Club of Bellsouth Company.

She is survived by her grandson, James Barlow Nutter of Georgetown; daughter in law, Sherri Nutter of Lexington; brother, Leslie B. Williams of Louisville; sister, Louis W. Hambrick of Georgetown; nieces, Kathy Ray, Maxine Riley, and Leslie Schrank; nephews, Michael Williams, Ronnie Williams, and Ricky Williams; and a host of great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, John T. Nutter, brother, Luther Williams Jr., sister, Mildred W. McIntosh Lawrence, and sister in law, Lucy Williams.

Funeral services are 11am Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Newtown Christian Church with Pastor Don Chase officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Visiting hours are 5-7pm Wednesday September 27, 2017 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tuckeryocumwilson.com
