Obituary for Connie Shouse Livengood

Connie Shouse Livengood, 70, wife of Ralph Thomas Livengood, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Cynthiana, Kentucky. She was born October 12, 1946 in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Norina Proctor Shouse. She was a member of Berea Christian Church and served as church secretary for many years and also as church janitor. Connie was most noted for her babysitting, and was a former employee of Kentucky Central Life Insurance Company where she was a secretary.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Tonya (Jimmy) Beckett, of Georgetown, Kentucky, Carrie Livengood, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, step-son Jeffrey Livengood of Lexington, Kentucky, grandchildren, Bethany Conrad, Ellen Livengood, Anne Livengood, Ivy Livengood, Daniel Beckett, and Matthew Beckett, one great grandson, Trevor Evans, and half-sister Onita Stratton, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Connie was preceded in death by brother, Troy Shouse, and half-brothers, Ralph and Hugh Shouse.

Visitation will be 5-9 pm, Monday, at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home. Services will be 11 am, Tuesday, at the funeral home with Pastor Gene Welsh, and Brother Jimmy Carr officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Happy Osborne, Mike Gifford, Jeff Carr, Jimmy Carr, Larry Shouse, Danny Jackson, and Jerry Johnson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be John Stewart, Ron Pennington, Luther Fritts, Doyle Rambo, and Henry Blair. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at
