Obituary for Connie Wayne Breshers

Connie Wayne Breshers, 67, husband of Sharon McCafferty Breshers, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018. He was born March 16, 1951 in Ferriday, Louisiana to the late J.C. and Ellen Frances Flack Breshers. He was an avid LSU fan and played football in high school. He was a retired painter, a hard worker, and will be remembered as a super grandfather.

Along with his wife Sharon, he is survived by children, C.W. "Chip" Breshers, Jr., Brent (Katie) Breshers, Jarred (Tiffany) Breshers, all of Atlanta, Georgia, Jena Kracsun of Merritt Island, Florida, Becky (Laurel) Cooksey of Georgetown, Kentucky, Chuck E. Stauber of Shawano, Wisconsin, Jonathan (Leticia) Stauber of Biloxi, Mississippi, Nicholas (Melissa) Borlee of Spokane, Washington, and Katie (Glen) Passmore of Biloxi, Mississippi. Connie is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brothers, Jerry (Carmen) Breshers of Austin, Texas, and Chris (Christina) Breshers of Stuttgart, Arkansas, sisters, Mona Malone of Benton, Arkansas, and Elaine Case of Hot Springs, Arkansas, brothers and sister-in-law, James A. McCafferty of Savannah, Georgia, Ron Clayton of Lead Hill, Arkansas, and Karen Martin of Harrison, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by brother, Gary Dean Breshers, and sister, Teresa Walker.

Memorial visitation will be Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 11am-2pm at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tuckeryocumwilson.com
