Obituary for Donald Faye Rogers

Donald Faye Rogers, 80, widower of Lillie Mae Rutledge Rogers, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017. He was born April 15, 1937 in Georgetown, Kentucky to the late James W. And Hattie Mae Eldridge Rogers. He was a member of Central Church of God. Donald retired from IBM after many years. He was a graduate of the first class of Scott County High School. Donald was a farmer and enjoyed working on farm machinery. He helped many local businesses with their farm machinery repair operations.

Donald is survived by his children, Donna (Scott) Mullikin of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, David (Melissa) Rogers, of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Lisa (Jeff) Jones of Sadieville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Brad (Tina) Mullikin, Krista Berwanger, Shannon Mills, and Jessica McFerron, 9 great grandchildren, Abbie, Jonathan, Mikah, Avery, Piper, Shawn, Lillie, Alyssa, and Emma. He is also survived by a great host of friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am Monday, July 10, 2017 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Glenn officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8pm Sunday. Serving as pallbearers are Bill Bernard, Dusty Glass, Brad Mullikin, Brian Tyler, Craig Coker, Paul Bredberg, and Mike Hamilton.
