Obituary for Emma Sue Coyle

Emma Sue Coyle, age 77, and the wife of David Owen Coyle, passed away, Friday, March 16, 2018 at her home in Stamping Ground. She was born July 17, 1940 in Scott County, Kentucky to the late Revel and Mildred Tackett Riddle. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and Minorsville Homemakers. She graduated from Stamping Ground High School and was a former employee of Farmers Bank in Stamping Ground. Emma loved reading, traveling, flowers and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband David she is survived by her sons, David O. (Collene) Coyle Jr. and Terry Alan (Kim Burus) Coyle, both of Stamping Ground; grandchildren, Brenna Coyle Fletcher of Stamping Ground, Leslie Shoulders of Frankfort; and great grandchildren, Emma Fletcher, and Madison and Megan Shoulders. She is also survived by her brother Gary Riddle of Stamping Ground and sister Faye True of Owen County.

Visitation for Emma will be Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 11am to 2pm at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral following at 2pm. Services will be officiated by Rev. Lowell Coots and Rev Robert Miller. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery with pallbearers being John Riddle, Tim Riddle, Jerry Wright, Tommy Wright, Trampus Offutt, Travis Offutt, Matt Shoulders and Andy Fletcher. Special friends will be honorary pallbearers, Lorraine Baldwin, Shari Cannon and Barbara Sparks.
