Obituary for Gene A. Kenley

Gene A. Kenley, 83, husband of 64 years to Bonnie Whitley Kenley, passed away July 14, 2018 in Georgetown, Kentucky. He was born December 23, 1934 in Scott County, Kentucky to the late Albert Pack and Elizabeth Riddle Kenley.

He was a retired farmer, a member of Dry Run Baptist Church, and a graduate of Oxford High School.

Along with his wife he is survived by his son, Terry G. (Robyn) Kenley of Georgetown; grandson, Colby (Ashley) Kenley; granddaughters, Jenn Kenley and Sasha Kenley; great grandsons Devin Brown, Tucker Kenley, and Parker Kenley and great granddaughter, Allie Trent. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Dolores and Joe Sargent.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Bluegrass Hospice Care including his nurse Rhonda.

Funeral services are 11am Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery with pallbearers being Colby Kenley, Ronnie Wagoner, Bob Earl Alsop, B.J. Hayes, John Mulholland, David Kenley, Ricky Sargent. Honorary bearers are Bobby Courtney, James Happy, Bobby Kenley, Adrian Kenley, and Dale Kenley. Visiting hours are 4pm-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1317 US Highway 62E, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031 or to ones favorite charity.
