Obituary for Herman D. Stewart

Herman D. Stewart, age 75, husband to Carol Brandenburg Stewart, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at his home in Georgetown. Herman was born in Owen County, Kentucky to the late James and Pearl Winkle Stewart on September 16, 1943. He was retired from Johnson Control, enjoyed fishing, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his daughter, Sheri Richie ( Danny) of Georgetown, Kentucky, step children, Michelle Rose of Irvine, Kentucky, Kirk Conrad (Debbie) of Waco, Kentucky, grandchildren, Kaleigh Stacy , Falon Stacy, Jace Stacy, Ashley Sanderson, (Joel), Steven Smith, Bradley Conrad, Jason Conrad, great grandchildren, Daisie Sanderson, Dawson Sanderson, Jonah Sanderson and Abigail Sanderson. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles Stewart of Georgetown, Kentucky, Albert Stewart of Harrodsburg, Kentucky and sisters Beulah Hale of Lexington, Kentucky and Joyce Field of Lexington, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his step son, Ricky Conrad, his son in law and best friend, Teddy Rose, and his sisters, Helen Stewart, Bonnie Stewart, Sue Bigalow and Louise Bond.

Visitation for Herman D. Stewart's family and friends will be Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 5 to 8 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home.
